A MAN tried to take photos up a woman’s skirt whilst she shopped in Tesco.

Anthony Baker, 32, of Ghyll Road, Heathfield tried to take a picture up a woman’s skirt in The Green, Newick on September 13 last year and again at the Tesco store in Mirian Close, Pevensey on September 19.

Baker pleaded guilty to two counts of outraging public decency as well as possession of cannabis when he appeared at Hastings Magistrates’ Court on March 3.

He accepted he had “behaved in an indecent manner, namely taking or attempting to take photographs covertly of a female up her skirt.”

He was ordered to complete a community punishment including 150 hours of unpaid work and pay his victim £100 compensation.
