Albion WILL have Bruno leading them out at Leeds on Saturday.

The veteran Spaniard has given the Seagulls a huge boost for the test at Elland Road by recovering from a groin injury which forced his withdrawal in the second half against Derby at the Amex last Friday.

Boss Chris Hughton confirmed this morning: "Bruno's fine."

The 36-year-old right-back's well-being, fresh from agreeing a one-year contract extension, eases the defensive injury crisis for Hughton.

It means he can field the same back four that secured successive clean sheet wins against Derby and Rotherham, Uwe Huenemeier partnering Lewis Dunk in the centre with Liam Rosenior at left-back.

Chelsea loanee Fikayo Tomori will provide defensive cover on the bench, as he did against Derby prior to deputising for Bruno.

Meanwhile, Seb Pocognoli (groin) is set to return to the frame after the international break and Gaetan Bong (knee) is creeping closer to a comeback.

Hughton said: "Seb will still miss out (against Leeds). We expect him to be fit for the Blackburn game (April 1).

"We are hoping to push (Gaetan) into training next week. Whether he will be available for Blackburn we'll see."

Hughton plans to give recent Norwegian signing Vegard Forren a run-out in the under-23s as he plays catch-up with his fitness.
