Albion midfielder Beram Kayal has been sent home from the Israel squad due to illness.
Kayal has been released because of a throat infection and high temperature.
He was expected to start Friday night's World Cup qualifier against Spain in Gijon.
Albion team-mate Tomer Hemed is still with the squad.
The Seagulls resume their automatic promotion bid from the Championship against Blackburn Rovers at the Amex on April 1.
