British Airways sent their apologies to customers after yet another stoppage.

The closure will be a significant blow for the attraction on Mother's Day and what is expected to be the warmest day of the year so far.

In a statement on their website they said: "The British Airways i360 pod is closed on Sunday March 26 and Monday March 27 while technicians investigate the cause of a temporary fault.

"We would like to offer our sincere apologies to our customers for the inconvenience caused. Tickets for flights on these dates will be valid for three months.

"If you would prefer a refund, please call our Customer Services team on 03337 720 360 – our lines are open 9am – 5:30pm."
