THESE Brownies surprised their mums with these beautiful pot plants on Mothering Sunday.
South Downs Nurseries in Hassocks donated the pots and compost to the 5th Burgess Hill Brownies.
They each hand painted a terracotta pot and planted it up to make a unique and personal gift.
Snowy Owl Zena Cope was thrilled with the donation.
She said: “We only enquired about a possible discount as all our activities are self-funded, but to have the pots and compost donated was so very generous. A big thank you to Steve the manager for making this such an enjoyable activity.”
The Brownie group is returning to South Downs Nurseries in Brighton Road in April for a free tour.
Plant manager David Finn will teach them how to take care of the plants they potted.
