Albion winger Anthony Knockaert is in a three-way fight to be named Championship player of the season.

The Frenchman has been shortlisted with ex-Seagull Chris Wood of Leeds and Newcastle marksman Dwight Gayle.

Knockaert has contributed 13 goals to Albion's promotion push, plus a stream of assists in the second half of the season.

New Zealand striker Wood took his league tally to 24 with both goals in Albion's 2-0 defeat at Elland Road earlier this month.

Injury-hit Gayle has hit 21 goals for leaders Newcastle.

Albion have also been nominated with Saturday's visitors Blackburn Rovers, Millwall, MK Dons, Carlisle and Stevenage for Family Club of the Year and represent the south-east for Community Club of the Year

Liam Rosenior is on a shortlist of three for PFA Player in the Community.

Steve Sidwell had already been shortlisted for Goal of the Year for his 50-yard strike at Bristol City.

The winners will be revealed at the Football League's annual awards in London on April 9.
