A MAN suffered multiple fractures in a vicious and unprovoked attack on St Patrick’s Day.
Police are investigating the assault which happened at around 11.30pm on Friday, March 17.
A 27-year-old man was punched to the ground in Boyces Street, Brighton, and then repeatedly stamped on by a man.
He suffered hairline fractures to his nose, cheek bones and jaw and one of his front teeth was knocked out.
He went to hospital for treatment.
Detective Constable David Rose said: “This was a nasty, unprovoked attack which left the victim in a lot of pain.
“We want to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault or can identify the man.”
