A POST Office cash machine was raided by thieves in the middle of the night.
Police are appealing for witnesses after intruders broke in to Hurstpierpoint Post Office in the High Street and stole a large quantity of money from the cash machine.
The break-in happened at around 3.30am on Thursday, March 23.
The thieves made their getaway in a dark vehicle, possibly a BMW.
Detective Sergeant Colin Garman said: “We would like to hear from anyone who saw this burglary or has any information.”
Witnesses are asked to phone 101.
