A MAN suffered a serious head injury when he was attacked with a glass bottle.
The 28-year-old was walking dogs with a friend in Bartholomew Square, Brighton, when he was hit on the forehead, leaving him with a deep cut.
He took the dogs home and then made his way to the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
However a concerned passer-by stopped him and called an ambulance.
The attacker, who was not known to the victim, was white, 5ft 8in, in his early 20s with dark hair and was wearing dark trousers and a striped T-shirt.
Police say the attacker is believed to have been with a group of other men who were playing with what might have been a frisbee.
The incident happened between 11pm on Saturday and 1am on Sunday. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
