A TEENAGER was left shaken but unhurt after his bike was stolen by another boy.

The 17-year old victim was robbed in Surrenden Road, Brighton, while cycling with a friend.

Detectives believed there was just one suspect, who was black male, aged 16 to 18, around 5' 11", of slim build.

He was wearing a black hooded top with red writing on the front and back, possibly the word Puma, black tracksuit bottoms and red underwear which was pulled above the tracksuit bottoms.

The suspect was with a group of white and black boys of similar age.

The victim, from Lewes, was very shaken but unhurt following the incident at around 4.20pm on Tuesday, March 21.

Detective Constable Tom Duffy, of Sussex Police, said: "The victim relied on the bike as his sole form of transport and will now suffer greatly due to this loss.

"The bike has a hardtail black frame with a gold finished handlebar, black leather saddle and large tyres with white stencil writing on the side saying 'magic mary'".
