Matt Sharp claimed the first victory on Brighton Marathon weekend as he beat local boy Finn McNally in the BM10k.
Sharp pulled away from McNally just past the halfway mark and crossed the line comfortably clear of the Brighton Phoenix runner in a provisional time of 30min.16sec.
McNally took second in 30min.35sec with Paul Whittaker third in 30min.46sec.
Katrina Wooton stormed to an emphatic victory in the women's race.
Wooton finished more than a minute clear of her nearest rival in a time of 32min.46sec.
Lily Partridge was second in 33min.55sec with Phoebe Law claiming bronze in 34min.00sec.
