Anthony Knockaert cannot wait for an emotional promotion celebration with his family.
The French magician scored twice at Wolves and ran to family and friends who were watching at Molineux.
Knockaert gave his shirt to his brother Simon after another glorious chapter in his emotional season. The family have been touched by tragedy this season with the death of Anthony’s father.
They will be at the Amex on Monday when Albion look to essentially finish the job by beating Wigan.
Knockaert told The Argus: “It is always nice to have family here.
“The most important for them will be on Monday if we do it and it will be special with what happened with me this season.
“I think they can’t wait and hopefully we will do it.
“For me personally, it will be amazing for my family.
“I know it is still tough for them about my dad and I know that my mum suffered a lot.
“But I am here for her. The main man was my dad. Some friends and family, like my brothers, now try to be here as much as they can.
“It is not always easy because they are working a lot but it is amazing when they come.
“The first goal was in front of them and that was brilliant.”
“I can’t remember much about the goals. I was just happy to put the ball in the net and that is a good thing for us.”
