HORSHAM town centre’s annual Italian inspired festival was a huge success over the Easter weekend.

Visitors enjoyed three days of food, entertainment and a wide range of fascinating vehicles.

The star car on Easter Monday was the event’s first ever record-breaking Bugatti Veyron, visiting to promote the owner’s Warren Classic and Supercar Show in Essex.

At the heart of the event was the Italian Piazza Market which this year was joined by Italian Travel specialists A Taste of Italy and a variety of stalls.

A new Road Safety Zone, sponsored by Kwik Fit and also featuring Sussex Safer Roads Partnership, Stay Safe Driving School and the Institute of Advanced Motoring, was kept busy giving advice and running competitions to test visitors’ safe driving knowledge.

The Sporting Bears Dream Rides from Brock Taylor were hugely popular generating more than £4,000 for the three event charities – Chestnut Tree House, The Children’s Trust and Winston’s Wish.

Ferrari Friday lived up to its name with more than 100 Italian stallions passing though the town this year.
