CYCLISTS can still register for the new Hit the Downs mountain bike event on Sunday, May 7.
All money raised will go to Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.
Kicking off from Windlesham House School near Worthing, with either a 20 or 40-mile route, the event takes in the natural beauty of the South Downs – a firm favourite with cycling enthusiasts.
Keen cyclist Stephen Williams, 56, from Steyning, has recently registered.
He is no stranger to fundraising events or cycling but this is his first association with Chestnut Tree House and he has set himself a fundraising target of £1,000.
Registration for Hit the Downs MTB is £33 per person and closes today.
Call the fundraising team on 01903 706354.
