A FUN-FILLED dragon day is taking place at a castle.

The event at Hastings Castle on May 13 will feature a special appearance from animatronic dragon Flame.

Guests will be invited to help tame Flame, who breathes smoke and stands four metres high.

The dragon will be active throughout the day for 25-minute timeslots and available for photo opportunities in between.

When Flame is resting, Bunsen the Dragon will be out and about in the grounds.

The day will also feature performances from Morris dancers as well as Brazilian drummers Samba Lanco.

Children will also be able to have a go at “slaying” dragon pinatas and enjoy arts and crafts.

They can also take part in a trail to save the town’s folk from the dragon.
