FIREFIGHTERS freed a man trapped in a car after a crash with a van.
Emergency services were called to the A259 South Street, Eastbourne, at 10.44am this morning after a collision between a Jaguar car and Ford Transit van.
A man in the Jaguar, believed to be a passenger, was mechanically trapped and had to be freed by firefighters.
He was taken to hospital with a suspected broken arm.
A man and woman, from the van and car respectively, were able to get out unaided.
South Street was closed to traffic while the incident was dealt with.
