NESTING swans have forced organisers of a Dragon Boat festival to postpone the event.
The festival, organised by children’s charity Rockinghorse, was due to take place at Brighton Marina tomorrow.
However the birds, which are protected by law, have now laid eggs and need to remain undisturbed.
A rescheduled date will be arranged as soon as possible.
Organisers have apologised for the short notice and for any inconvenience caused for those planning to take part or go along to watch.
