THE Children with Cancer Fund has said a huge thank you to radio presenter Neil Pringle for his marathon efforts in raising £1,500.
Mr Pringle, who presents the breakfast show on BBC Radio Sussex, has been involved with the charity for many years.
He decided to run the Brighton Marathon for the first time at the age of 57.
He completed the race in around five hours and he came to The Boship Lions Hotel at Hailsham to hand over the money.
He was greeted by hotel owner Sheikh Abid Gulzar who pledged to donate an extra £200 to the charity, making the grand total £1,500.
