A MAN was attacked with a baseball bat and then stabbed.
Between five and eight men were involved in a fight outside Copthorne Village Store, Copthorne Bank, Copthorne, on Friday at 7.30pm.
The 38-year-old victim was attacked and stabbed in the leg.
He was then chased towards the Prince Albert pub, also Copthorne Bank, before the men left in a black Audi 4 x 4. He was taken to hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.
Witnesses should call 101 quoting serial 1287 of 19/05.
