Albion's England under-21s winger Solly March has suffered a minor injury scare.

March has been left out of a get-together for 28 players at St George's Park next week ahead of the European Championship finals in Poland next month.

His omission is due to a heel injury sustained in the closing stages of the season with the promoted Seagulls.

The problem flared up again while March was on a training camp at St George's Park with this season's Championship contenders for the Euro finals.

Depending on the results of a scan, March is expected to feature in Aidy Boothroyd's 23-man squad for the finals, announced on June 6.

March was out for 11 months with cruciate knee ligament damage before returning to action in November to boost Albion's promotion push.
