A SERIES of supper club events are being held next month, writes Nick Mosley.

The first will be at Gardner Street’s new restaurant, Common, on June 3 at 7pm. Award winning chef Georgia Cass will run the kitchen and showcase her love of Scottish produce.

A rising star in Edinburgh, she will head south for the special event and will join Common’s head chef Andy Pollexfen.

Hotel du Vin, in Ship Street, will host its Cigar, Wine and Spirits Dinner on June 15 at 7.30pm.

James Maher, from Hunters and Frankau cigar importers, will guide guests through the world of cigars. Wine will be selected by Hotel du Vin Brighton’s head sommelier Robin Roux and there will be a traditionally French Hotel du Vin dinner.

On June 22, Tina Horvath will host a special diner in her living room.

Hero Suppers with Cantina will see the queen of Brighton supper clubs treat 18 people to a night to remember.

Finally, on June 27, The Salt Room, in King’s Road, will host a supper club in the restaurant’s private dining room.
