AWARD-winning wine maker Alison Nightingale has launched a range of sparkling wines from her vineyard.
She planted the 30-acre vineyard at the Albourne Estate with 41,000 vines after leaving a high powered job in marketing to bring up her family.
The new wine is the 2013 Blanc de Blancs, made with chardonnay white grapes and using the highest quality cuvée.
In the second year of production in 2015 her 2014 vintage Bacchus beat 300 other entries to the accolade of English Wine of the Year.
The attention it created has seen Alison take orders from as far afield as New York.
Her wine is listed in prestigious Sussex on-trade outlets as well as numerous local wine merchants and restaurants.
The vineyard overlooks the South Downs and is a ten-minute drive from Brighton.
