Former Albion loanee Fikayo Tomori has become a World Cup finalist with England under-20s.

They came from behind to beat Italy 3-1 in the semi-finals in South Korea today and now face Venezuela in Sunday's final.

Paul Simpson's Young Lions fell behind early on when Andrea Favilli ran in behind Tomori to score.

The Chelsea defender recovered from that initial setback to deny the same rival late on after Dominic Solanke and Everton's ex-Charlton winger Ademola Lookman had put England ahead.

Solanke, just signed by Liverpool from Chelsea, scored his second and England's third two minutes from time.

Tomori, 19, made three starts and seven substitute appearances for the Seagulls this season.

His close friend at Chelsea is Tammy Abraham, the striker Albion are vying with Newcastle to borrow after he scored 23 goals on loan to Bristol City in the Championship.
