COMEDIANS traded laughs for cash in a fundraising night for a hospice.

Six comedians including Lloyd Griffith helped raise more than £1,200 for St Barnabas House Hospice at the comedy night in Hove.

Staff from Legal and General organised the event, which took place at The Brunswick in Holland Road, and some even took to the microphone themselves.

Lloyd has played at arenas all over the country and has most recently been seen on BBC3’s Taxi to Training.

The other comedians who took part were Mike Cox, Phil Jerrod, Linda Larkin, Sunjai Arif and Legal and General’s Alex Petrovic.

In total £625 was raised at the event on Wednesday which Legal and General has match funded, bringing the total to £1,250.
