A MAN has been taken to hospital after being beaten up outside a rugby club.
The 22-year-old Worthing man was assaulted outside Bognor Regis rugby football club in Hampshire Avenue between 11.45pm and midnight on Monday June 12.
The victim, who was meeting with friends at the time, sustained a black eye, bloodied nose, bruising to his back and a cut leg.
He was taken to Worthing Hospital for treatment.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault or anyone who has information about those involved to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101 quoting serial 827 of 12/06.
