LEADING lifestyle hotel brand Malmaison has celebrated the launch of its Brighton hotel with a glittering party.

The boutique hotel, located at Brighton Marina, invited the city’s movers and shakers to join in the celebration.

British actress Carlo Cleveland and The Bill’s Chris Ellison were among the revellers raising a glass to the new hotel following the multi-million pound transformation that led to the arrival of Malmaison in the city earlier this year.

Guests were treated to a vibrant mix of cocktails, bubbles and eclectic craft beers from Malmaison’s iconic Chez Mal bar and brasserie.

Mouth-watering canapes and lavish platters of fresh sea food were served throughout the night whilst flavoursome barbecue dishes could be found sizzling away on the grill on the terrace, overlooking the buzzing harbour.

Live performances from Brighton’s favourite acoustic brand Riptide, DJ John Jones – one of the headlining DJ’s for Hed Kandi – and the renowned DJ Dev from BBC Radio One kept guests on their feet, dancing the night away.

General manager David Eiffert said: “The party was a fantastic way to officially introduce Malmaison to Brighton.

“It was brilliant to have so many people there and to be able to show just how much the hotel has to offer.

“We’re hugely excited for what’s to come, and can’t wait to welcome more of you to the hotel.”
