The scene of the accident on A27
A HORSE had a lucky escape when its vehicle tumble over on the A27.
The horsebox jackknifed just before rush-hour yesterday afternoon and despite appearing to have been badly crushed in this picture police said it survived the drama.
Motorists were faced with long delays from the direction of Lewes towards Falmer, where the crash took place.
At 5pm police reported that the road had been cleared and the traffic began to clear.
