A MAN is due to appear in court accused of attacking police officers and resisting arrest.
Mark Wakefield is also charged with being drunk and disorderly after an incident at The Cricketers Arms pub in The Green, Southwick.
Police were called to the scene at around 10.40pm on June 16.
The 50-year-old, of Old Shoreham Road, Southwick, was arrested after being allegedly aggressive to pub staff and officers, a spokeswoman for Sussex Police said.
After being taken into custody Wakefield was released on unconditional bail and is due to appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on July 4.
