Heard a really loud bang in Brighton about ten minutes ago, sirens more recently. Probably unrelated but stay safe just in case :)

Sussex Police were called to the Preston Road area following the reports.
Some residents suspected that the disturbance was caused by overnight engineering works on the railway line.
This has not been confirmed.
Officers did not find anything suspicious at the scene upon arrival.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "At around 20 minutes past midnight on Monday, police received a report of a loud bang in the Preston Road area of Brighton.
"Checks were made to see if it might be associated with overnight engineering works on the railway or other likely sources of detonation, but nothing was found.
"There were no reports of injury or damage to property."
