Last year’s winner, Sarah Springford, director of Brighton and Hove Chamber of Commerce, said:“When I heard my name called out I couldn’t believe it and was not at all prepared for speaking in front of the 300 strong audience!

“The last 12 months have been amazing with many people pleased to see my work and the Chamber recognised.

“Winning the award was a highlight of last year.”

Other winners for 2016 included The Big Lemon who were named business of the year.

The awards will be chaired by Fiona Shafer from the MDHUB and will be staged at Proud Country House on Thursday September 14.

She said: “What a great pleasure it is to be asked to chair the BAHBAs.

“As a former judge and sponsor of these prestigious awards over the years, I am looking forward to facilitating the judging panel.”
