What is your favourite place in Sussex?

Sheffield Park and Nymans – outstanding beauty and both are great places for clearing mental cobwebs.

What do you love most about living in Sussex?

Its close proximity to London, Brighton, Gatwick, the beautiful countryside, and the sense of community which is in abundance.

What advice do you have for your 12-year-old self?

Don’t beat yourself up!

What needs doing will still be there tomorrow.

Always be true to yourself.

What is your most valued possession?

That’s a difficult one. There are many... my music collection, Chloe the cat, my home and my family and friends – not necessarily in this order.

What is your biggest regret?

That I never learned to play the piano.  I have one and fortunately it’s played by lots of friends.

What is your biggest fear?

Spiders.

What is your proudest achievement?

Fundraising for a variety of charities by staging and performing musical concerts for 47 years.  Also, running Lea Graham Associates for more than three decades.

Which five people (living or dead) would you invite to your fantasy dinner party?

Peter Ustinov, Joan Sutherland, Alec Guinness, Victoria Wood and my late father, John Lea, who inspired my love of music.
