A PIZZA restaurant is facing a battle over its plan to allow customers to take alcohol away from the establishment.
Franco Manca in Regent Street, Brighton, has applied for permission to extend its current licence allowing it to sell alcohol both on and off premises every day between 10am and midnight.
The plans are opposed by Brighton and Hove City Council officers and the North Laine Community Association who have warned the plans will exacerbate problems the area already faces.
The plans will be discussed before a licensing panel on Thursday.
