Albion are determined not to be dazzled by the bright lights of the Premier League.
Which is why Chris Hughton had them in for training at 8.30pm last night at the Amex.
The floodlights at the Seagulls’ home have been greatly improved as part of the requirements for the big league.
Hughton is determined home will be a fortress for his side and, to that end, is leaving no detail unattended to.
He wanted his squad to be used to their new surroundings.
So the spectacular new lights were turned on for an unusual Friday night session.
Hughton told The Argus: “It has changed from the Championship. The lights are a lot brighter and this was an opportunity for the players to experience that.”
