A SECOND World War bomb has been found and detonated at a city park.
The bomb was discovered close to a biking route through Stanmer Park, Brighton, at around 5pm on Saturday afternoon.
Sussex Police taped off the top of the cycling route known as Buzz Lightyear through the park’s woods before carrying out a controlled explosion.
Around 30,000 tonnes of bombs were dropped by the Nazi Luftwaffe during the Blitz.
