ALBION fans have the chance to watch their heroes train at the Amex in the club’s debut Premier League season.

The men and women’s teams will take to the turf for an open training session on August 15, three days after Chris Hughton’s men host Manchester City.

Turnstiles will be open from 9.45am and the men will be out first at 10.30am. The Seagulls’ ladies will follow with the session ending at 1.30pm.

Supporters will be able to enjoy refreshments from the kiosks in what they can finally call a Premier League stadium after an exhausting 46-match Championship season which saw Albion clinch automatic promotion.

Fans will also be able to get their hands on the 2017/18 home kit when the club superstore opens its doors at 9am, along with the alternative kit as seen modelled by Royal Blood in Australia recently.

Tickets for the training sessions are certain to be in demand so the club recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

Tickets are free for all Young Seagulls members, Bronze members and season ticket holders.

Sports groups and clubs are welcome to get involved in their teams but must be accompanied by an over 18.

Non-members have to register as either Young or Bronze Seagulls by going to www.seagulls.co.uk/memberships.

The deadline for ticket applications is 5pm on August 14.

Albion officials have warned people of the danger of buying tickets from re-sellers after some fans were scammed.

It follows complaints after tickets for the opening two away matches were appearing for re-sale on unauthorised websites and social media – even though the club said they were sell-outs.

Chief executive Paul Barber said: “It is concerning and frustrating that tickets purporting to be for the visitors’ section at our upcoming away fixtures are being offered for sale in this way, particularly as many fans with the required loyalty points have missed out.

“It appears that these individuals have no intention of attending the match and have bought tickets simply to profiteer, gain loyalty points, or both. We would remind these individuals that the unauthorised sale or transfer of tickets to a football match is a criminal offence under UK law.

“The simple message to all our fans is to only purchase via the club’s official ticket website and not to allow these individuals to benefit.”
