Albion winger Kazenga LuaLua has rejoined Queens Park Rangers on loan until January.

LuaLua spent the last four months of last season at Loftus Road, scoring once in 11 games before an ankle injury.

The 26-year-old is back under Ian Holloway's wing in time for tomorrow's Championship visit to Sheffield Wednesday.

He has been involved with Albion's first team throughout pre-season and was given a squad number - but manager Chris Hughton made it clear he would be going back out on loan.

Long-serving LuaLua is down the pecking order for a wide spot and the Seagulls are about to increase their wing options with the club record capture of Colombian Jose Izquierdo.

Hughton said: "This loan move represents a great opportunity for Kazenga to go on loan and play regular first-team football.

"He knows the club well from spending time there last season, as well as the division, and it is a loan which benefits all three parties."

LuaLua, out of contract next summer, has scored 22 goals in 183 appearances for Albion since joining from Newcastle, initially on loan, seven-and-a-half years ago.
