POLICE are investigating allegations that a couple had sex on a Gatwick-bound train.
The incident reportedly happened on a Gatwick Express service via East Croydon on Thursday between 9pm and 10pm.
Officers from the British Transport Police were called to reports of a man and a woman engaging in sexual activity on the 9pm service from London Victoria.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
A BTP spokesman said: “The incident was reported to the BTP shortly before 9.30pm on Thursday, August 10.
“Anyone who was on the 9pm service from London Victoria to Gatwick Airport and saw what happened is urged to get in touch by sending a text to 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40.”
