EMERGENCY services are seeking help about a fire that blazed for more than 12 hours.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) warned residents near the industrial estate in Diplocks Way, Hailsham, to keep their doors and windows shut to avoid smoke getting in because the area was badly affected by it.
The fire was at a two-storey unit in the estate.
Six engines were called to the scene at 9.47pm last night, and were still fighting the flames at 10.50am today.
ESFRS say there are no reported injuries.
In the warning statement, the service said: "Any type of smoke can be an irritant and locals are being asked to keep away from the area and to keep doors and windows closed."
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
Sussex Police is appealing for witnesses to the blaze, and they are investigating with ESFRS.
Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting serial 1507 of 15/08.
