A MAN who scaled St Peter's Church in Brighton has now been arrested.
The 31-year-old was taken to hospital with minor injuries after falling down the scaffolding on Tuesday afternoon.
The man who had abdominal and pelvic injuries was released from hospital on Wednesday morning and taken into custody where he remains.
Police officers are now questioning him on suspicion of using threatening behaviour.
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said in a statement: "A man who fell after climbing the scaffolding on St Peter's Church in Brighton on Tuesday afternoon and was taken to hospital has now been arrested on suspicion of using threatening behaviour.
"The 31-year-old Brighton man suffered a minor injury.
"He was released from hospital and taken into custody where he remains on Wednesday morning."
