A NEW T K Maxx store has opened in Crawley County Oak Retail Park.

Excited shoppers turned up for the official opening on Thursday.

A spokesman said: “We are delighted to finally open our doors to the shoppers of County Oak Retail Park.

“We greeted crowds of customers for the opening as they headed in to discover the big labels and designer gems.

“The rapidly changing assortments creates the treasure hunt shopping experience that our customers love and we are so excited to share it with Crawley.

“We encourage shoppers to stop by often to find the latest designer fashion and unique gems on offer, always at amazing value.”

This is the second T K Maxx store in Crawley and 35 jobs have been created by this shop opening.

T K Maxx now has more than 500 stores across the UK, Ireland, Poland, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands.

It was announced in February 2016 that both T K Maxx and Boots were to open this year at County Oak.

Lorcan Mooney, fund manager for County Oak’s owners, Standard Life Investments UK Retail Park Trust, said at the time: “It’s great to see that County Oak continues to attract some of the best brands.

“It’s easy to see just how important the retail park is for Crawley.”

County Oak is based on the Manor Royal estate in Crawley.
