VISITORS to Arundel Castle took a step back in time for the annual living history weekend.
Five living history groups spanned 12,000 years from The Stone Age to Victorian Britain on the lower lawns of the castle.
Visitors also got up close and personal to Roman Gladiators, Norman Crusaders, 15th Century knights and Georgian smugglers.
Thousands attended over Saturday and Sunday with many more expected for the final day today.
This weekend was also the Arundel Festival with event s held throughout the town. There was dragonboat racing down the River Arun , a mass treasure hunt and a family day at the lido.
The final day of the festival, which began on August 19, is today with the ever popular duck race the highlight.
