A TEENAGE girl has been ordered to pay compensation to a school she broke into and vandalised during the summer holidays.
The 14 year old from Portslade, who cannot be named for legal reasons broke in to Hove Park School on August 10 and smashed a TV.
The girl admitted entering the school's Hangleton Way campus as a trespasser with the intention of committing unlawful damage.
After admitting the offence at Brighton Youth Court last Thursday, the girl was ordered to pay £250 compensation to the school and engage with youth offending services for six months.
