CIRCUS performers got hearts racing as they showed off their daredevil stunts yesterday.
Toni and partner Nikol, from Prague, performed their knife throwing act in front of stunned spectators at Zippos Circus in Hove Lawns.
It is one of a number of acts at the circus which is in town until September 3. Also showing off their skills was the Lucius Motorbike Team who speed around the so-called Glove of Death.
Martin Burton, founder of Zippos, said: “Another of our amazing acts is American Kimberly on the flying trapeze, who hangs by her ankles with no net and no safety wire. Adding to the excitement is Laci Fossett, who comes from Britain’s oldest circus family. Laci free falls from the top of the tent suspended only by straps and his own body strength.”
