A MAN was assaulted as he walked home on Tuesday evening.
The 33-year-old from Brighton was walking down Arundel Road in Kemp Town towards the seafront when he was punched on the face.
Nothing was stolen.
Police arrived in response to a phone call made an hour later but did not find the suspect despite searching the area.
The victim was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton where he was treated for his injuries.
