THREE men have been arrested after another man was found with stab wounds in a flat.

Officers were alerted to the 45-year-old victim at a property in Church Hill, Newhaven, at around 8.45pm on Saturday.

He had wounds to his head and abdomen.

After being given first aid by police officers and paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service he was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.

His condition is not thought to be life-threatening.

Three men were arrested after following police investigations.

A 33-year-old man from Seaford was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, a 29-year-old man from Saltdean was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent, and a 20-year-old man from Newport, South Wales, was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

All three were later released under investigation.
