DRIVERS are being warned about a major diesel spill.
Motorists in the Steyning and Henfield area are being urged to drive with extreme caution as an apparent fuel spill has caused already wet roads to become extremely hazardous.
Reports have been received by Sussex Police from drivers on the A283 and the A281 and a number of vehicles have skidded and are experiencing traction difficulties on the slippery surface.
Crews dealing with diesel spillages on A283 Steyning to Upper Beeding + A2037 Upper Beeding to Small Dole. Please avoid the area if possible
