POLICE are on the hunt for a man after he missed a court appearance.

Clinton Goodfellow, 39, failed to appear at Hastings Magistrates' Court for a theft charge, leading to a court warrant being issued.

He also failed to attend a probation meeting.

Goodfellow was on prison licence, which has now been revoked, meaning he is also subject to a prison recall.

He was released on licence in May, part-way through a 39-month sentence he was serving for robbery, which began in April 2015.

He is described as white and of slim build, and about 6ft with a shaved head.

Goodfellow is thought still to be in the Hastings area.

Anyone with information about Goodfellow's whereabouts should contact Sussex Police by calling 101 or reporting online at www.sussex.police.uk quoting serial 1617 of 01/09.

Alternatively, they can report their information anonymously through independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.
