BRIGHTON and Hove Albion’s success story continued in glittering style last night.
The club was named Outstanding Brightonian at the 12th annual Brighton and Hove Business Awards (Bahbas).
Executive director Martin Perry was presented with the honour by Phil Green, director of MDHub.
Mr Green said: “Our winner tonight has taken Brighton beyond the UK and put us on the map of Europe.
“In fact, on August 13 we estimate that there were around 70 million people around the world who were chanting the name of Brighton.
“With an arena voted the best new stadium in the world in 2012, a world-class training facility, a multi-award- winning charitable arm, exceptional club and team management, the future looks bright for our Outstanding Brightonian.”
