A PARTYGOER had his jaw broken in a vicious night-time assault.
The 36-year-old victim was walking on Brighton seafront between 2am and 3.30am on Sunday when the unprovoked attack happened near the junction of the Lower Esplanade and West Street.
The man, from the West Midlands, was on his way to a party was knocked out and sustained serious head injuries, including a broken jaw. He is now recovering.
Detective constable Andrew Beaumont from the Brighton and Hove investigations team said: "I would urge any witnesses to the attack to come forward, and in particular I'd ask that two men who assisted the victim after he was injured get in touch."
