TWO suspicious items closed a railway station for an hour.
British Transport Police were called at 1.26pm on Tuesday to Crawley Railway Station after a member of the public reported suspicious items.
A Sussex Police spokesman said a man had left two locked bags on a platform and left the station and apparently disappeared.
Southern Rail services were told not to stop at the station will the incident.
Specialist BTP officers deemed the bags to be safe.
